
She is a prolific and long-bestseller Greek writer, who is nominated for Andersen Award 2008. Since 1974 she
has been writing books either for children or grown-ups, or for
both of them; but in any case she speaks straightforwardly, because
she believes that both children and grown-ups deserve the same treatment
- she is the first writer in Greece who dared to deal openly in
an adolescence book with sex abuse (

at that time. Her speech is provocatively simple, straight and direct,
and in all her books there is Love, Birth and Death; the two first
more projected while the latter waylays irrevocable and threatening
with its any metaphysical extensions. Her books are mainly of social
and political context with several, sometimes, autobiographic elements
